Is this you?

Patients interested in supporting the skin’s own structural quality over time, rather than an immediate volume change.
— WHAT IT IS

How the treatment works

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a prescription treatment for men with testosterone deficiency. That means testosterone levels that are consistently low, together with symptoms or signs that match. One low number on its own isn’t enough. Diagnosis is based on at least two early-morning blood tests taken on separate days, along with your history and a physical exam.

When treatment does start, the goal is simple. Bring your testosterone into a normal range at the lowest dose that gets it there, and see real improvement in the symptoms that brought you in.

Our Approach

This is a longer arc treatment. Expectations get set clearly at the first visit: results build gradually, and a plan usually spans more than one session.
— CANDIDACY & WHAT TO EXPECT

Is this treatment right for you?

Biostimulators are typically recommended over a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart, with results building gradually over the following months.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are biostimulators different from fillers?

Traditional hyaluronic acid fillers add volume right away. Biostimulators work more gradually, prompting your skin to build its own collagen over time. Results tend to look softer and more natural because they come from your own tissue. The two most common types are poly-L-lactic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite.

How soon will I see results?

Gradually. Because your body is building new collagen, changes usually show over several weeks to a few months rather than right after treatment. With poly-L-lactic acid, most people in clinical studies saw results starting around one month. Calcium hydroxylapatite also gives some lift right away.

How many treatments will I need?

It depends on the product, the area, and your goals. Some plans call for a short series of sessions spaced weeks apart. Poly-L-lactic acid is typically given in about three sessions spaced at least three to four weeks apart. Your provider will map out your plan after your evaluation.

How long do results last?

Results generally last longer than many traditional fillers. Poly-L-lactic acid results lasted up to two years in clinical studies, and calcium hydroxylapatite typically lasts around a year. Results vary from person to person.

Is there downtime?

Most people go back to normal activities quickly. Swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at the injection sites are common for a few days. You may get aftercare instructions, such as massaging the area, depending on the product.

Are there risks?

Yes, as with any injectable. Beyond short-term swelling and bruising, small bumps or nodules under the skin can form. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulators can’t simply be dissolved, which is why careful placement and an experienced injector matter.

Who isn't a good candidate?

Biostimulators generally aren’t recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection in the treatment area, or are allergic to any of the product’s ingredients. A history of keloids or certain autoimmune conditions also needs review first.

Can biostimulators be combined with other treatments?

Often, yes. They’re commonly paired with other aesthetic treatments as part of a broader plan. What they’re paired with depends on your goals and your evaluation. PRP and other aesthetics treatments
